Medicines have to be taken in the right dose at the right time. If the medication includes more than one kind of medicine, however, it is easy to become confused. Chemists can solve the problem by enclosing medicines in quality-assured blister packs for individual patients in the form of weekly blisters. On the basis of automation components from Lenze, med-i-tec GmbH has developed a semiautomatic device with which chemists can package medicines individually for each patient quickly, easily and reliably.
